Dr. Christine Grimaldi, PhD, RYTT, neuroscientist and holistic psychologist has devoted her life to helping kids. She has poured herself and over 20 years of research into developing The Body Mantra Method, an effective and life-changing program for kids dealing with cancer, developmental disabilities, rehabilitation, anxiety, and depression. The proprietary Body Mantra Method frees the mind to fully connect to the body to create a steady state of flow.
How the Body Mantra Method and Mat work
The Body Mantra Method combines physical and mental repetition ultimately uniting the mind and body resulting in the transformation into a state of flow. This will lead the individual back to healthy living when proper balance of life has been disrupted. This is especially true after a crisis, such as a pandemic, learning obstacles, surgery, cancer, or grievance. This mind-body method will lead to the next appropriate step in one's life journey.
Why it works
Our method teaches kids how to use positive repetition daily to be the best version of themselves. This promotes flow and a connection to the “higher self,” putting the individual in a steady state of calm for productivity and focus, enhancing optimal mental and physical health. While all Body Mantras share the quality of being repeated physical sequences, the Mantras themselves differ for children suffering from anxiety, ADD, ADHD, developmental delays, cancer, and their awful side effects: depression, behavioral problems, emotional outbursts, chronic fatigue, and addiction to name a few.

The Body Mantra Method and Mat incorporates neuroscience and exercise physiology to elevate the mind. The Psychology of FLOW
Flow is the mental state of operation in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process of the activity. In essence, flow is characterized by complete absorption in what one does. In the state of flow, the emotions are not just contained and channeled, but positive, energized, and aligned with the task at hand. To be caught in anxiety or depression is to be barred from flow. The hallmark of flow is a feeling of spontaneous joy while performing a task. Flow is a deep focus on nothing but but the activity.
